Jiaxing company shines at copyright expo
The ninth China International Copyright Expo and 2023 International Copyright Forum kicked off in Chengdu from Nov 23 to 25.
Zhejiang Ikali Game Costume Culture Industry Co Ltd from Pinghu, Jiaxing, presented its series of original Chinese princess costumes at the expo.
The expo is a national and international copyright exhibition. Covering an area of 52,000 square meters, it showcased China's new achievements, new products, new models, and new technologies relating to copyright.
The creation of the aforementioned Chinese princess series started in 2015 and it won the first Zhejiang Provincial Intellectual Property Award in 2017. It integrated characteristics of the traditional clothing of 56 ethnic groups and designs of Western princess dresses, showing the unique charm of the Chinese nation's clothing styles.
The company was established in 2003 and is a leading enterprise in the field of game costumes. It has cooperated with well-known international Fortune 500 companies such as Disney, Universal Studios, and Lego. In 2022, it achieved about 590 million yuan ($82.52 million) in exports, a year-on-year increase of 52.04 percent.
The company was also selected as the national key cultural export enterprise for 2023-2024 by the Ministry of Commerce and the Publicity Department of China.
