The second phase of the 134th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, recently ended. Six enterprises from Pinghu, a county-level city of Jiaxing in Zhejiang province, participated in the fair, with 16 booths in industries such as kitchenware, bathroom equipment and gifts.

Zhejiang Gint Thermal Insulation Technology Co Ltd from Pinghu is a veteran exhibitor at the Canton Fair. It brought more than 700 samples of thermal insulation containers, which attracted more than 300 buyers from over 50 countries and regions every day. Some of its new products, such as a travel thermal bucket pot and foldable handle, were very popular with customers.

Zhejiang Mesa Sanitary Ware Co Ltd is a newcomer to the Canton Fair. It produces bathtubs, shower rooms and other bathroom products. Its booth was crowded with buyers from the Middle East, Southeast Asia and other places. Its new product line tub and customizable shower room impressed buyers with their unique designs and bright colors. Many buyers expressed intent to visit the company’s factory.

The third phase of the Canton Fair will start on Oct 31. Pinghu will have 47 enterprises attending the fair, with 107 booths for luggage, toys, and clothing.

The Canton Fair was founded in 1957 and is held every spring and autumn in Guangzhou. It is China's largest and most influential trade event, showcasing a wide range of products and attracting buyers from all over the world. It is known as "Chinas No 1 Exhibition".
