Garefu Technology has been in the wallpaper and wall cloth market for over 20 years and has a more-than 30 percent market share in China. The company also has about 200 invention patents and has developed glutinous rice glue, a product that does not contain harmful substances and has a long shelf life.

"We have improved our products to meet the environmental standards of the Asian Games. Our products have less harmful substances and stronger adhesion," said Ding Sheng, an R&D engineer at the company.

The Hangzhou Asian Games Village is the largest non-competition venue and will offer various services for participants. Garefu Technology's products were selected to be used as village decorations after rigorous quality checks by the Asian Games Organizing Committee.

The company's products also have codes for quality traceability and to ensure authenticity. Its production processes are controlled by automated equipment, which improves efficiency and expands sales. From January to August, the company's sales increased by more than 20 percent year-on-year.
