Zhejiang Sont Building Materials Co Ltd, located in Xiuzhou district, Jiaxing, has participated in preparations for the Asian Games with its energy-saving and environmental protection products.

Sont is a high-tech enterprise that specializes in new wall materials. It has provided lightweight sand aerated concrete blocks for the Asian Games, which are porous and lightweight and made of quartz sand, cement, lime, gypsum and aluminum powder.

The blocks have many advantages over traditional bricks, including reducing the weight and cost of buildings, improving thermal insulation and fire resistance performance, enhancing sound insulation and impermeability, and increasing the actual use area of the house. They are also green and pollution-free products that do not harm the environment.

Sont was established in Shanghai in 2003. In 2009, it moved to Xincheng town, Xiuzhou district.

Sont has also been involved in many important construction projects, such as the China National Pavilion of World Expo 2010 Shanghai and Shanghai Tower. It has become a designated supplier for well-known real estate developers such as Vanke, China Resources and Greentown.
