Seven overseas students from Tanzania, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, and Congo learnt about China's architecture at the Jiaxing Construction Industry School in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province on Nov 29.
Their first stop was the physical teaching models on display at the school and they were impressed by the Chinese-style architecture, the application of technology to these architecture models and the advanced architectural concepts.

They also admired the pseudo-classic architecture at the school to learn about traditional Chinese architecture and were amazed at the exquisite layout and beautiful landscape.
Guided by the school's teacher, these students also tried to make black-awning boats, a special water vehicle in China's Jiangnan region, at the carpenter's workshop.
