Jiaxing details latest COVID-19 epidemic conditions

A total of 15,331 residents in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province has taken nucleic acid tests as of 9:30 am on Nov 4, all showing negative results, according to officials at a news conference held by the Jiaxing municipal government.
The large-scale testing campaign came after a man was recognized as the close contact of a confirmed COVID-19 case in Hebei province and his nucleic acid tests were positive when he returned from Hebei to Wuzhen in Tongxiang, Jiaxing on Nov 2.
The Jiaxing government calls for local residents to increase their awareness of self-protection measures, as well as follow the regulations regarding COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control.
Local residents are required to wear a face mask, wash their hands, ensure proper indoor ventilation, and maintain proper social distancing with other people. They are also required to develop good health habits, including using serving chopsticks and spoons, as well as covering their nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing.
