Representatives from 200 universities across China attended the activity organized by Jiaxing authorities on Oct 27 to discuss talent attraction initiatives with local companies.

Jiaxing announced at the activity that it will mobilize more than 1,000 companies to organize 112 campus recruitment fairs in over 100 universities in 22 cities from October to December, with these companies offering more than 10,000 job opportunities.

The city also updated the Jiaxing Talent Code applet with new job hunting and recruitment functions, where universities, research institutes, as well as companies can post their needs for talents, while graduating students can post their resumes.

The Jiaxing Talent Code applet, which is available on the Zheliban mobile app, offers more than 30 services from banks, law firms, hospitals, hotels, as well as libraries. It has more than 590,000 registered users.

At the event's launch ceremony, Jiaxing established long-term strategic cooperation agreements with 10 universities, including Southeast University, Yunnan University, and Suzhou University, to establish centers for talent cooperation.

The city is expected to establish more of these centers with 100 universities from 2021 to 2025.
