Pengjie town in Luqiao district, Taizhou, Zhejiang province, recently welcomed international students from Taizhou University to the "Red Flag Granary Workshop" to experience traditional Chinese culture.
Guided by skilled instructors at the workshop, students tried their hands in the traditional art of cloth-pasted pictures. Their creativity produced interesting fabric compositions that reflected their individuality.

Following the art-making session, Zhang Xiujie, an intangible heritage inheritor of the cloth-pasted picture, led a tour of the workshop, introducing the intricate processes of making indigo-dyed cloth and the stories behind the creative pieces in the workshop.
Chen Weihong, vice-chairman of the Overseas Chinese Federation in Luqiao, highlighted the significance of the event in deepening cultural understanding and fostering a deeper appreciation for traditional Chinese culture of international students.
