Pet product exports in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, have shown a consistent upward trajectory this year. More than 10 companies have exported pet products worth 221 million yuan ($30.36 million), a 16 percent increase compared to the previous year.

Taizhou Huamao Handicraft Article Co, a leading enterprise in China's pet product industry, offers a wide range of products, such as cat climbing frames and pet toys, which are popular in the European, American, Japanese, and Korean markets.

The company has capitalized on the "pet economy" trend by continuously innovating and producing sought-after items and seizing new opportunities in foreign trade. Its newly developed Christmas-themed cat beds have gained popularity abroad, with an average daily shipment of 3,000 sets.

The company has already completed orders valued at around 64 million yuan this year, with a growth of over 10 percent year-on-year.

Meanwhile, KioPet Company focuses on producing a variety of cat climbing frames, catering to pet lifestyles and interactive needs between pets and owners. It develops over 10 new products each month, designed with diverse themes and high-quality craftsmanship to appeal to a wide consumer base.

With the successful export of blockbuster products to Europe and North America, the company anticipates a 30 percent growth in exports this year, with foreign trade output expected to surpass 40 million yuan, according to General Manager Zhou Ting.
