Taizhou basketball players claim fifth in global competition

Print PrintThe World School Basketball Championship 2024 concluded in Macao, with the Chinese boys' team 1 fighting their way to fifth place.
Over 600 athletes from 37 teams representing 20 countries and regions took part in the competition. Among them were two boys' teams and two girls' teams from the Chinese mainland.
The boys' team 1 included six players from the Huipu High School in Linhai, Taizhou, Zhejiang province, with the school's Luo Lun as the head coach.
The World School Basketball Championship, organized by the International School Sport Federation, is one of the most prestigious international basketball tournaments for middle school students.
