Taizhou saw the addition of 491 above-designated-size businesses in 2023, marking the fourth-highest number in Zhejiang province, as recently revealed by provincial authorities.

This upsurge not only signifies the vibrancy of Taizhou's economic landscape but also underscores the city's commitment to fostering a conducive environment for business development and economic progress.

Currently, the city proudly hosts a total of 5,657 enterprises above the designated size, referring to those whose main business revenue stands above 20 million yuan ($2.76 million), placing it at the forefront of the economic landscape in Zhejiang. These entities serve as the driving force and crucial support for the development of Taizhou's private economy.
