Taizhou victorious at national tourism products contest

Print PrintThe 2023 China Special Tourism Products Competition concluded on Aug 31 in Tianjin, with East China's Zhejiang emerging as the biggest winner.
More than 20,000 entries from 30 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country vied for recognition during the event, which offered a total of 500 prizes, including 100 gold awards, 200 silver awards, and 200 bronze awards.
Zhejiang secured an astounding 48 awards - 12 golds, 16 silvers, and 20 bronzes. This remarkable achievement not only solidified Zhejiang's position as the top province in terms of overall awards but also set a nationwide record for the highest number of accolades in each category.
Among Zhejiang's impressive showing, entries from Taizhou stood out, garnering a well-deserved spotlight. Taizhou's exceptional products secured nine awards - three golds, three silvers, and three bronzes.
The gold-medal-winning products from Taizhou encompassed a diverse range of offerings that cater to the needs of modern travelers. One notable product is a portable two-piece travel set, combining a portable humidifier and a disposable raincoat, designed to enhance the travel experience. The other two gold-medal-winning products include a luxurious five-element nourishing soup gift box, crafted to provide nourishment and relaxation, and an innovative folding trolley case that delivers both style and functionality for jet-setters.
