Two companies from Taizhou – Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceutical Co Ltd and Yuhuan Putian Starter Drive Co Ltd – were recently listed among the second group of "Enterprises on the Cloud" in Zhejiang province.

The term "Enterprises on the Cloud" refer to manufacturing companies that have leveraged digital upgrading to improve their efficiency in terms of allocation of resource factors, production and management.

Founded in 1983, Yuhuan Putian Starter Drive Co Ltd is a company specializing in the R&D, production and sales of car starter one-way clutches and car window motors.

The company, which is based in the county-level city of Yuhuan, is a supplier of automakers including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Hyundai.
