A total of 26 cultural enterprises from Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province are attending the 2020 Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo, which opened on Nov 19 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.

The expo, slated to run until Nov 22, is now in its third year and is jointly sponsored by the provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui and Shanghai municipality, all located in the Yangtze River Delta. It aims to further promote the integration of cultural industries in the region.

This year's exhibition, covering a total space of 54,000 square meters, attracted a total of 1,011 exhibitors from across the nation, up 13 percent year-on-year.

An official from the Publicity Department of the CPC Taizhou Municipal Committee said that the number of participants from the city as well as the number of products being showcased are higher than in previous years.

Intangible cultural heritage products including Taizhou embroidery, bamboo carvings and boneless lanterns garnered much attention at the expo.

A local public agricultural brand known as Taijiuxian also debuted at the expo.
