Founded in 1847, Zhejiang Wenling High School is a prestigious, century-old educational institute in Zhejiang province.
Covering an area of 232 mu (15.47 hectares), the school has more than 4,000 students and employs 340 faculty and staff members, including one meritorious teacher, five special-grade senior teachers, and 94 senior teachers, as of 2013.
The school's library has a collection of 140,000 books, including more than 20,000 periodicals, 324 magazines and 76 newspapers. The library, which has a monthly book circulation of over 8,000, has two reading rooms for students and one for teachers.
The school currently has six computer rooms, 72 laboratories, 87 multimedia classrooms and 560 computers. In 1996, the school became the first of its kind in Zhejiang to have access to the internet.
The school carries out frequent exchanges with other schools and has established friendly relations with its counterparts in China, the United States, France, Germany, Japan, Russia, Malaysia and South Korea.
Zhejiang Wenling High School is qualified to recruit foreign teachers and enroll overseas students.
