Taizhou Airport has developed air routes to 13 major cities in China, including Beijing, Shenzhen and Xi 'an, while the drive from Taizhou to Ningbo and Wenzhou Airports takes less than two hours. With domestic routes reaching various places from its port and regular international routes for freight containers, Taizhou has always been a maritime gateway for external exchanges. The completion of the Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou railway has made transportation even more convenient.
