"Potala Palace" by the seaside is located in Houshaao, Kanmen town, Yuhuan, Taizhou, east China's Zhejiang province. The houses and temples were built by early Kanmen fishermen living at the beach on the gentle slope side of the mountain and are shaped like Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet autonomous region, therefore it is known as "Potala Palace" by the seaside.
