Tung tree leave pack

In Chengnan town, Wenqiao town and Wugen town of Wenling, people cook a tung tree leave pack on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, steaming fermented rice starch on tung tree leaves.

The food eaten on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month varies from place to place in Taizhou. People in Jiaojiang district may eat Tangxin cake (Chinese: 糖心糕), people in Linhai, Tiantai county and Sanmen county may prefer wheat pancake barrel (Chinese: 麦饼筒), people in Jinqing town of Luqiao district may eat noodles and seafood, and people in Yuhuan may eat various such as the tung tree leave pack, Gao Gan Pi and cowpea paste.
