Xuanmen bay water scenic spot [Photo/en.zjtz.gov.cn]

Yuhuan (Xuanmen bay) water scenic spot is renowned for its stunning natural sightseeing and ecological environment. It boasts mudflats, wetlands, islands, mountains and woods. There are 40 single tourism resources in the scenic spot, among which the 3-level to 5-level sites reached 75 percent.

Over 9,500- mu (633 hectares) freshwater wetland in the scenic spot accommodates many existing single tourism resources, such as the water birds, tamarisk and the relic of reclamation project.

The existing vegetation sightseeing park mainly includes the cultivated vegetation, of which most are broad-leaved evergreen forests, while the reclamation area mainly covers the natural vegetation, of which the main varieties are the marsh and aquatic vegetation as well as the coastal halophytic vegetation.
