"I firmly believe that through the sincere cooperation and joint efforts of the two places, Li Bai culture and Tang poetry culture will surely bear fruit and bloom brilliantly," said Guan.

He also sent a big gift bag to Jiangyou people so that any resident with a Jiangyou identity card will be allowed to visit for free all State-owned scenic spots affiliated with the Tiantai Tourism Group.

Jiangyou government leaders were full of confidence about the cooperation between the two places.

They said that Tiantai was an important place for Li Ba. Some 1,300 years ago, Li Bai left Jiangyou and traveled to Tiantai Mountain, where he wrote the eternal poem A Dreaming Tour of Tianmu Mountain (《梦游天姥吟留别》), which became an expression of the relationship between Jiangyou and Tiantai.

The leaders added that successful cooperation between the two sides was a major event that would take the inheritance of Li Bai culture to a new level.
