Zhejiang establishes first silver economy industrial park
The launch ceremony for the "Silver Economy Industrial Park" in Changshan county, Quzhou, Zhejiang province, was held on Aug 30, marking the establishment of the province's first industrial park focused on the silver economy.
The park aims to leverage local strengths by developing national-standard orchards and establishing more than five large-scale production bases. It will also create processing zones for "Two Pomelos and One Tea", equipped with over 100 production lines.
The construction of the Silver Economy Industrial Park is designed to coordinate the county's elderly care industry, enhance innovation-driven leadership, and utilize local agricultural resources. It will implement standardized planting, large-scale production, technical support, diversified supply and sales, brand development, and cluster growth. This initiative seeks to expand the experience and sales of age-friendly products and improve public elderly care services.
Changshan aims to seize opportunities in the silver economy sector by developing health products tailored to seniors' needs. The strategy is to create a comprehensive industrial park that integrates deep processing of agricultural products, health care, and leisure tourism.
