The 2024 Quzhou Marathon is set to kick off at 7:30 am on Nov 24. Registration for the event will open at 10:00 am on Sept 4.

Quzhou boasts over 4,000 years of history. The city is home to some of the best-preserved ancient city walls in the Jiangnan region (areas south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River).

Known as the "Home of Southern Confucianism", Quzhou is the home of Confucius' descendants and a key center for the spread of Confucian culture in South China.

The Quzhou Marathon, which has been a regular local event since its first half-marathon was held in 2016, has grown significantly over the years. This November, it will debut as a "Label Race" of World Athletics.
