Quzhou in Zhejiang province is fostering an e-commerce ecosystem through cluster development.

Quzhou's industrial clusters are now well-established, featuring new materials, new energy, integrated circuits, high-end equipment, life sciences, and specialty paper.

The city has built industry chains in outdoor products, hardware machinery, mining equipment, and specialty paper, encompassing over 2,000 upstream and downstream enterprises.

In Jiangshan county-level city, livestream hosts introduce various wooden doors to their online audience. This setup — phone, stand, ring light — has become the new normal for many local businesses.

By leveraging a cluster approach, Jiangshan's wood door industry has scaled to a billion-yuan market. The model featuring livestreams hosted by craftsmen has attracted distributors nationwide, with online orders surpassing 1 billion yuan ($139.94 million) to date.
