National intangible cultural heritage experience museum opens in Quzhou

A national intangible cultural heritage experience museum in Quzhou titled "Zhu Bingren Copper", opened to the public on July 8.

The "Zhu Bingren Copper" brand was named after Zhu Bingren, the fourth-generation inheritor of the Zhu Mansion Copper Art and a Chinese arts and crafts expert.

The brand was founded by Zhu Junmin, the fifth-generation inheritor of the art form. It includes stationery and toys, Chinese gifts, and furniture murals. Its works have been used as diplomatic gifts and presented to foreign guests.

Zhu Bingren had deep roots in Quzhou, and the copper-carved mural Heaven and Earth Chessboard in the Quzhou Museum was created and designed by Zhu and his team.

The cultural experience museum covers an area of more than 300 square meters and is the largest cultural venue featuring intangible cultural heritage copper culture in western Zhejiang. The museum is home to more than 1,000 copper artworks are, including more than 300 works by Zhu Bingren.

The museum also features urban cultural and creative products such as Quzhou-themed copper teapots, copper pen holders, and copper hollow bookmarks.
