TTX Group becomes Quzhou's first approved exporter under RCEP
Zhejiang Tongtianxing Group Corp in Quzhou, Zhejiang province became the city's first exporter under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) on June 27, according to Quzhou Customs.
An approved exporter is an enterprise that is legally recognized by customs to issue a declaration of origin on its own for the goods it exports or produces that have the origin qualification under the relevant preferential trade agreement.
The products of TTX Group are mainly exported to Southeast Asia. The company applied for an average of about 100 certificates of origin every year previously.
Once a company becomes an approved exporter, it can issue certificates of origin at any time rather than applying at customs, which saves much time, said Zhang yanxinxi, an employee of TTX Group.
It has been reported that enterprises that meet the standards of high-level customs certified enterprises, master the rules of origin under relevant preferential trade agreements, and have a complete management system of origin qualification documents can apply to customs for the certification of approved exporters.
