The Quzhou Foreign Language School was inaugurated on Sept 1 in Quzhou city – located in East China's Zhejiang province – according to local media reports.
The school is the city's first international K-12 private school that includes a kindergarten, primary school, middle school and high school. It is reportedly committed to being a benchmark private school in Quzhou, long known as being the thoroughfare city for four provinces: Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi and Anhui.
The school has adopted the PPP – Public Private Partnership – model of cooperation between the government and private capital, enabling it to secure strong support from the International Education Group and Beijing Foreign Studies University.
It is also qualified as a Cambridge International School, by the Cambridge International Examinations.
