Early on, Quzhou city reportedly took the lead in East China's Zhejiang province to launch a village vision pilot scheme – and it has followed the goal of people-centered rural development since August 2019.
Moreover, the city has established "future communities" in its urban areas and "future villages" in its rural areas – innovative residential clusters which pursue an eco-friendly and digitalized rural lifestyle – and Quzhou has been ramping up its efforts to advance urban and rural integration for a common prosperity.
Yudong village – administered by Quzhou – has been dubbed as one of the "Top Ten Farmer Painting Villages in China" and a "Home of Chinese Folk Culture and Art".
In 2018, Yudong village was successfully established as a national 3A-level tourist attraction.
In addition, Yudong established the Quzhou Yudong Farmer Painting Development Co Ltd. It was jointly founded by the village collective, farmer painters and a professional management team, to promote the revitalization and development of Yudong on the path to its goal of "culture + tourism".
Quzhou is reportedly taking giant strides towards achieving a common prosperity in terms of its humanization, ecological friendly development and digital transformation.
It is understood that Quzhou's future community and future rural construction are currently at the forefront of the movement in the province. At the moment, 15 future community projects and 18 future rural projects are undergoing construction.
