The Information Office of Zhejiang Provincial People's Government hosted a news conference on Aug 29 to provide updates about the province's major achievements in digitization reform.

The reform has affected every aspect of Zhejiang residents' daily lives, such as administrative affairs, medical services, elderly care, child care, job-seeking, physical exercises, and travels. Powerful mobile apps have been used in various scenarios and created a smarter, more convenient, and more comfortable life for users.

The reform has also stimulated industrial restructuring and upgrades. In recent months, Zhejiang launched 36 smart-manufacturing industrial clusters and conferred 33 manufacturers with the title of "factories of the future". The value-added in the province's high-tech industries and strategic emerging industries rose 22.7 percent and 24.2 percent respectively in the first half of this year.
