The Jianglang Mountains, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in Quzhou, Zhejiang province, made its debut at China's State television station CCTV, local media reported on March 5.

The Three Valves Stones, the most highly praised natural wonder in Jianglang Mountains, is thoroughly presented in the CCTV documentary Aerial China Season II.

Only by flying up 824 meters from ground, can one have the chance to get a clear image of the three huge flat stones.

The stones have stood on earth for nearly 135 million years and they were split from a huge stone due to geological movements.

The narrowest place in the passages between the three flat stones is only 3.5 meters.

It is said that in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), local residents attempted to reach the peak via a wooden ladder. However, three years later, they could still not betake themselves to the top and the stakes at the foot of the mountain had rotten.

Nowadays, people may climb to the peak by the steps dug along the cliff and admire the marvelous view.

The documentary Aerial China Season II records the magnificent natural landscape in China so as to reveal the unseen part of China to its audience.
