The China Softball League engaged with students at Shaoxing Luxun Primary School on April 11. All-Star players interacted with the students, providing them with a day of hands-on play and learning.

The event, themed "Chasing Dreams," transformed the basics of softball into a four-part obstacle course. Students teamed up with professional players to participate in various challenges, including math-and-run base challenges, swing tests for distance, pitching for speed and accuracy, and precision tosses.

Rather than just demonstrating skills, the players coached students one-on-one, concluding the day by handing out small gifts and taking group photos, which left a lasting impression on the school.

The China Softball League began its new season on April 8 in Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province. The 2025 season runs from April 5 to April 29, featuring a total of 135 games, with the All-Star game scheduled for April 25.

Since its inception in 2022, the China Softball League has been held in Shaoxing for four consecutive years. Although softball was excluded from the 2024 Paris Olympics, it will return at the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.

For the past three years, the China Softball League has included Shaoxing's campuses in its outreach strategy, using the game to teach skills, bring joy, and inspire the next generation of players.

Luxun Primary School has gained a reputation for grassroots baseball and softball education. Through in-school lessons, themed activities, and exposure to professional-level games, it has become one of the schools in Shaoxing known for promoting the sport.
