Haining shines at China Fashion Week

The Fashion Haining event took center stage at the China Fashion Week 2025 (Spring) in Beijing on March 27.
The event featured seven industry agreements, three exclusive runway shows, and a showcase of local design talent.
Hosted by the China Fashion Association and the Haining city government, the event gave Haining designers a platform to push boundaries.

He Rong combined traditional brocade weaving with modern fabrics, making heritage wearable. Yao Yilin explored the complexity of contemporary femininity through asymmetry and mixed textures.
Haining, a county-level city of Jiaxing, has positioned itself as a fashion hub, supported by policies that strengthen its leather, textile, and apparel industries. In 2024, its industrial output surpassed 81.3 billion yuan ($11.19 billion).
An official with the Haining government said that Haining will use China Fashion Week to expand its influence and drive innovation in the industry.
