Quzhou's Changshan to build fast freight hub
In Zhongka Logistics Industrial Park, located in Changshan county, Quzhou, Zhejiang province, the groundwork has been laid for the new headquarters of Zhejiang Ronghui Logistics Co.
Ronghui Logistics, a company that specializes in less-than-truckload freight for large-sized goods or bulk goods, was founded by Zhu Jianhui last September, with its headquarters based in Changshan.
The county has established three key logistics clusters – the Zhongka Logistics Industrial Park, the Yimidida Smart Industrial Park, and a multimodal transport logistics park. The Zhongka Logistics Park alone has attracted over 130 logistics-related business enterprises.
Located at the intersection of Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, and Anhui provinces in East China, Changshan boasts a special geographical advantage and currently the county is developing a comprehensive modern transportation system.
Xu Chen, deputy director of Changshan county's transportation bureau, said recently that the county is leveraging its location and transportation advantages to develop itself into a fast freight hub.
To establish the fast logistics hub, Changshan county's departments have been working to provide tailored services to logistics companies to ensure smooth project executions.
Zhu said that within a month of signing, Ronghui Logistics had launched a nationwide network, boasting over 8,500 service points with full city coverage and expected daily freight volumes exceeding 26,000 metric tons.
In addition to Ronghui, a cloud-based logistics services provider called Yimidida signed up with Changshan last October to build a smart industrial park, slated for completion in 2026. This facility will focus on logistics warehousing, complemented by logistics coordination and big data analysis centers.
