Hangzhou unveils new landmark ice rink

Hangzhou's latest ice sports venue, the Uniterra Skating Club, has officially opened at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center.

Spanning 1,800 square meters, the facility features cutting-edge ice-making and temperature control systems to ensure top-quality ice conditions year-round. It is also the first ice rink in Zhejiang province to be built to international standards.

"In addition to the Olympic-standard rink, we've planned a 1,250-square-meter recreational ice rink for the public," said the venue's manager. " The public rink is expected to open after the Chinese New Year holiday.

The facility also includes dance studios, dryland training rooms, fitness areas, and changing rooms, making it suitable for high-level competitions, professional training, ice performances, and more.

The venue promises to deliver a comprehensive and immersive ice sports experience to residents of Hangzhou, according to local media.
