Wenzhou delegates arrive in Hangzhou for Zhejiang two sessions

Over 100 lawmakers and political advisors from Wenzhou arrived in the provincial capital of Hangzhou for the annual sessions of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress and the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

With proposals in hand and a focus on public welfare, they are ready to contribute to Zhejiang's modernization and development.

Zheng Yinfeng, a lawmaker from Longwan district, submitted a motion on stronger birth support policies to ease child-rearing challenges and promote population growth.

Li Xingtao, chairman of Yuanye Group, emphasized the need for rural transformation. He plans to discuss strategies to integrate rural industries and foster new economic models.

Zhang Pengfei, a political advisor and chairman of Taichang Group, highlighted the role of incubator clusters in advancing manufacturing and boosting private enterprises.

Chen Qiuxia, another CPPCC member and director of the Zhejiang Subtropical Crops Research Institute, proposed leveraging technology to elevate rural development and transform agriculture.

Thanks to the many ideas and insights provided by delegations like the one from Wenzhou, the year ahead is looking promising for Zhejiang.
