The Zhejiang provincial department of culture, radio, television and tourism recently issued an action plan for intangible cultural heritage inheritance.

The plan proposed to establish 1,000 ICH workshops and stage 200 ICH-themed fashion shows by 2027.

It has set the goal of realizing 500 co-branding events and 8,000 patents involving ICH items.

At the launch ceremony of the plan in Yuhang district of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on Saturday, a bunch of traditional art workstations were certified and a tea culture fund was released to help promote tea-related consumption in Zhejiang.

Chen Guangsheng, director of the culture, radio, television and tourism department, said that the launch of the plan is Zhejiang's response to how ICH should be preserved and innovated, and through continuous innovative protection measures, local ICH can fully demonstrate the local lifestyle
