On the first weekend since the Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-Speed Rail began operating, Wenzhou North Station and Nanxi River Station welcomed 16,062 passengers, many of whom were tourists eager to explore the scenic Nanxi River.

On Sept 7, Chen Chen from Shanghai disembarked at Nanxi River Station, excited to finally visit the area. "With the high-speed rail now open, I couldn't miss this chance." Similarly, Chen Baizi from Pujiang county, Jinhua, and his friends captured some memorable photos at the station and expressed their excitement about how much easier travel has become.

Young traveler Hu Muyun, holding his ticket tightly, could hardly contain his enthusiasm about the journey. His father shared, "I bought the tickets online late last night to experience the new high-speed rail. We're planning to enjoy some wonton in Fenglin town and then head back to Oubei sub-district in the afternoon.”

At Nanxi River Station, tourists sought advice from staff about travel routes. Yang Xiaojie from Yongjia Tourism Investment Group's Leyou Nanxi Travel Agency noted, "We've launched several group tour packages, and our first tour today had 20 reservations." The high-speed rail's opening has significantly boosted local tourism, drawing visitors from various regions to enjoy the beauty of the Nanxi River.
