The Zhejiang International Electronic Commerce Expo 2024 commenced in Yiwu, Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on Sept 1, and will run until Sept 3.
The expo gathered over 1,200 renowned e-commerce platforms, service providers, and factories from countries and regions across the globe, including China, the United States, Russia, Japan, and Africa.
The expo featured 2,200 international standard booths spanning over 50,000 square meters and eight specialized zones showcasing the latest e-commerce innovations and services, aiming to bridge global e-commerce practices and foster economic integration.
To support small and medium-sized enterprises venturing into cross-border e-commerce, the event hosted more than 20 leading third-party platforms like Alibaba, JD.com, and Shein, facilitating seamless global market access for businesses.
The expo also featured live-streaming rooms where influencers engaged in immersive product promotions. Cutting-edge AI technologies, virtual live streamers, drones, and other digital services were showcased to enhance cross-border communication and trade experiences and foster connections between domestic sellers and international buyers.
Moreover, the expo emphasized e-commerce assistance for agriculture, setting up a rural e-commerce area featuring high-quality service enterprises involved in live-streaming and rural e-commerce.
Strong connections were forged with rural e-commerce demonstration enterprises from provinces such as Hunan and Sichuan to make agricultural products from villages easier for consumers to access, empowering rural e-commerce with digital trade and adding momentum to rural vitalization.
