At the 2024 North Bund International Shipping Service Forum held on Aug 21 in Shanghai, the Ningbo-Zhoushan International Shipping Center rose to 8th place in the Xinhua-Baltic International Shipping Center Development Index.
This marks a significant achievement for the port, which made its debut in the top 10 in 2021 and has consistently climbed the ranks.
Surpassing major global ports like Hamburg, New York-New Jersey, Houston, and Tokyo, Ningbo-Zhoushan has cemented its place as a critical hub for international shipping. This success reflects China's growing prominence in the global maritime landscape.
