The 2024 Lishui International Roller Skating Open commenced in Lishui, Zhejiang province, on Aug 7, attracting nearly 200 foreign athletes from 20 countries and regions and over 3,000 domestic participants.

Over six days, roller skaters will engage in intense competition across various events, including freestyle, speed roller skating, inline hockey, and roller derby.

The event features different levels of competitions: national championships, international opens, and youth competitions, spreading across six venues, including sports arenas and commercial squares.

Leveraging this prestigious event, Lishui aims to bring roller skating into commercial and scenic areas, enhancing the sporting event economy and reinforcing the city's identity as the "capital of roller skating".
