Wenzhou enhances convenience for foreign residents with one-stop services
Wenzhou has made life much easier for foreign nationals with its new "one-stop" services.
Foreigners can now easily set up mobile phones, access the internet, and link their WeChat and Alipay accounts for seamless mobile payments. This initiative addresses the most pressing needs of foreign residents by enhancing services at the Wenzhou immigration affairs service center.
Aaron from the United States recently visited the Ouyang Chao Studio at the Wenzhou immigration affairs service center to inquire about visa procedures. After obtaining his residence permit, he discovered he could also set up communication and payment services. To his delight, he quickly received a SIM card and a bank card and was able to set up mobile payment functions.
Aaron expressed his satisfaction, noting that he no longer needed friends or clients to help with payments, making everyday transactions like taking a taxi or shopping much more convenient.
Named after Officer Ouyang Chao, who holds a national second-level interpreter certificate, the studio offers seven services, including English language support, legal policy consultation, mobile communication assistance, financial payment solutions, and guidance on transportation and social activities.
The studio is currently in trial operation and is located on the second floor of Building A at the Wenzhou Civic Center.
