The Chinese Olympic Committee announced it will send 405 athletes to the Paris Olympics on July 13. Among them, 37 hail from East China's Zhejiang province, with two names from Quzhou.

The two Quzhou athletes are mixed doubles badminton player Huang Yaqiong and swimmer Yu Yiting.

The mixed doubles pair Zheng Siwei and Huang aim for a gold medal in Paris to complete a "grand slam" in badminton. Yu will compete in the women's 200-meter medley and 100-meter butterfly events in Paris.

The Paris Olympics is scheduled from July 26 to Aug 11.
