Starting July 2, Wenzhou's summer skies will see direct flights to the tropical paradise of Phuket Island.

Thai Lion Air is introducing 20 charter flights during the prime vacation season, ensuring travelers from Wenzhou can enjoy the sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters of Phuket without hassle.

Departures from Wenzhou are set for 3:40 pm, with arrivals in Phuket at 7:20 pm. Return journeys will take off at 9:00 am and reach Wenzhou at 2:40 pm, local times for both destinations.

The service dates span across July and August, specifically on July 2, 7, 13, 18, 23, 28, and Aug 3, 8, 13, 18. This initiative is a response to the growing popularity of Thailand as a holiday spot, further fueled by the recent visa exemption policy effective from March 1, which simplifies travel between China and Thailand.

Wenzhou travel agencies are already offering a slew of Phuket vacation packages, priced between 4,000 and 9,000 yuan ($550.50-$1,238.63). These packages promise an immersive Thai experience, including SPA treatments, diving, fishing, jungle treks, island tours, cultural shows, and culinary delights.

Dalu, a local travel agency leader, recommends Phuket as the perfect first stop for newcomers to Thailand. The island's leisurely vibe, abundance of seafood, and compatibility with Wenzhou's dietary preferences make it a hit.
