Parallel session of 2024 Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week opens in Wenzhou
The parallel session of the 2024 Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week in Wenzhou, coupled with the Cross-Strait (Wenzhou) Health Industry Matchmaking Conference, is set to be held from June 14 to 15.
This event will convene over 300 participants from various sectors, including medical and health experts, entrepreneurs, and representatives from Wenzhou and Taiwan, to discuss the future of industry collaboration.
Centered on the theme "Sharing Integrated Development Opportunities, Creating a Future for the Health Industry", the event will host a series of activities. The main event will focus on the shared development opportunities and future of the health industry, while five additional activities will include academic exchanges, project negotiations, seminars, skill competitions, and investment discussions.
The goal is to capitalize on Wenzhou's robust health industry by integrating Taiwan's resources, fostering comprehensive exchanges, and encouraging Taiwan businesses to engage in Zhejiang's high-quality development zones. This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to the deep integration of cross-Strait economic and social development and improve the health and well-being of people on both sides.
Wenzhou has been a proud host of the Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week for a decade, with the Taiwan business community actively participating. The event has been instrumental in deepening economic and trade cooperation between Wenzhou and Taiwan, achieving substantial outcomes in various sectors, including health, education, and finance.
