The 2024 Asia Design Prize, a prestigious accolade recognizing top global designers, has revealed its winners. Moj Coffee Zeya Beilinyang No 1 Store in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, secured a spot among the 20 grand prize winners from a pool of 1,601 entries spanning 25 countries.

The award aims to unearth and promote innovative design ideas from around the world. A panel of 35 experts from different countries evaluated the entries and selected 248 works in total.

Situated in the Beilinyong rural complex in Zeya town, Ouhai district, the coffee shop resembles a white cottage in the rice field, with a black wooden roof and a simple and modern interior. The surrounding area has a beautiful view of the green rice fields.

The designer of the coffee shop is Wu Xiaoyong, a local designer from Wenzhou, who works for Zhejiang Junlan Cultural Tourism Group.

He expressed that the coffee shop has a tranquil atmosphere, providing an escape from city noise. The bright and harmonious architecture brings joy to visitors, aligning perfectly with the aesthetic preferences of the younger generation.

Since its opening in July 2023, the coffee shop has become a popular spot for online celebrities, attracting a daily influx of young visitors. It consistently topped the "hot list" on the restaurant review app Dazhong Dianping for an extended period.
