Prior to the opening ceremony of the second session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Jan 22, some members were interviewed.

During the interview, Zhang Xiaoping stated that economic competition, to a certain extent, revolves around the business environment, which is why the province aims to instill greater confidence in private entrepreneurs.

Through the process of government serving businesses in the new era, he said he has keenly felt the tangible benefits brought to businesses.

"The shift from 'businesses seeking services' to 'services seeking businesses' has improved confidence among businesses," said Zhang.

The optimization of the business environment is an ongoing process, not a goal to be completed. Zhang expressed his belief that with the further implementation of Zhejiang's "32 Measures for the Development of the Private Economy," concerted efforts between the government and enterprises will undoubtedly lead to a brighter future for Zhejiang's private economy.
