Prior to the opening ceremony of the second session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Jan 22, some members were interviewed.

Lin Fucheng, a Zhejiang Provincial CPPCC member, emphasized the significance of common prosperity, particularly focusing on the income of farmers.

He shared experiences from a research trip to Daxibian township in Kaihua county, Quzhou city last year, where local farmers had warmly welcome Lin and a sci-tech expert team and sought their advice on sorghum cultivation.

As of now, the Zhejiang Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences has dispatched 1,697 sci-tech experts and 116 teams to 26 counties and districts in mountainous areas.

"We will continue to write research papers in the fields, deliver technology to people's homes, show farmers how to implement it, lead them in the process, and teach them how to get rich," said Lin.
