The organizing committee for the 2023 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit held a press conference in Beijing on Oct 30, introducing the main activities during the summit.

One of the main segments is the Zhejiang Sub-Forum, which is the largest and most prestigious division in the summit and aims to exhibit the high-quality development and achievements in Zhejiang during the digital economy era.

This year's Zhejiang Sub-Forum will host domestic and international experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs specializing in the digital economy. Through speeches and roundtable discussions, they will exchange viewpoints on high-quality global economic development in the new era.

The Light of the Internet Expo, which is an integral part of the WIC every year, will be held for the 10th time. It will display technological results in various fields such as artificial intelligence, digital technology, smart manufacturing, digital rural development, new digital infrastructure, and network security. A special area for innovation will be designated to showcase the latest accomplishments by entrepreneurs. Moreover, a talent matchmaking session will present over 10,000 job opportunities.

Another significant part of the summit will be the Direct Access to Wuzhen Global Internet Competition, which received 1,005 project entries from 23 countries this year, with 81 projects qualifying for the finals. The competition will feature six categories, namely artificial intelligence, digital healthcare, intelligent connected vehicles, industrial internet, smart sensing, and the digital ocean and aerospace.
