'Oh! You Pretty Things' Contemporary Art and Craft Exhibition opens in Hangzhou

The "Oh! You Pretty Things" Contemporary Art and Craft Exhibition kicked off in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province on July 8.
The exhibition showcases a total of 65 contemporary art pieces by 26 artists. The exhibited works revolve around traditional Chinese art, combining various art forms such as painting, photography, sculpture, installations, furniture, and new media, while also integrating multiple materials and crafts, including ink, oil painting, ceramics, glass, lacquerware, bamboo weaving, and textiles.

The exhibition no longer simply categorizes art, craftsmanship, and design based on artistic status or aesthetics, but organizes artists from different countries, regions, and fields to present art pieces that possess both practical and spiritual functions.
The exhibition will run until July 20.
