Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe freight service launches German distribution center

The Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe German Distribution Center was inaugurated in Duisburg, Germany, on June 16. It is the first overseas logistics hub for the Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe freight trains.
The Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe German Distribution Center is located within a warehouse occupying an area of 6,000 square meters. The facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment and great storage conditions. A highly proficient workforce and a fleet of self-operated trucks ensure seamless and efficient communication and collaboration with local service providers.

The center will proffer an extensive array of services encompassing warehousing, distribution, delivery, bonded storage, customs procedures, supply chain management, and the meticulous handling, storage, and distribution of rail containers throughout Europe.
Yiwu and Duisburg have been trading since the inception of the Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe freight service in 2014. In 2022, the number of Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe freight trains traveling between Duisburg and Yiwu soared to 259.
Statistics from Yiwu Customs show that in 2022, the Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe freight train service has operated 1,000 trains, increasing 15.3 percent year-on-year. Furthermore, 17 direct international railway freight lines from Yiwu to more than 50 countries and 160 cities are now in place.
