A documentary focusing on stories from China's path to modernization premiered on Mango TV on Feb 13.

Titled Navigating to the Future, the documentary was jointly produced by the Information Office of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Chin Review Studio and Mango TV.

The first episode - Stopovers at Thriving Markets – zoomed in on Huzhou's "sunshine canteens" as well as its booming cross-border e-commerce business.

A "sunshine canteen" refers to a place where customers can observe the food preparation and cooking processes via an online platform launched by Zhejiang province.

Meanwhile, Huzhou has adopted a new customs supervision pattern in which cross-border e-commerce business is carried out at the city's bonded logistics center.
